About the Images
There are approximately 155 different images included in the Web version of the catalog Paper Dinosaurs, 1824-1969. The images come up in your Browser in a medium-resolution format (approximately 380x250 pixels). In practically all cases, clicking on the image will bring up a high-resolution image (approximately 750x500 pixels).The images were prepared by transferring 35mm slides to Kodak Photo CD format, and then converting these to either JPG or GIF format. Those in JPG format are all 256 gray-scale 8-bit images; those in GIF format are 256 color 8-bit images. All the photographs were taken by the catalog author, William B. Ashworth, Jr. You are free to download images for your personal use, but the images and the catalog are protected by copyright, and for any other use you should direct inquiries to the Permissions Officer at the Library
