Twenty-six items from the Linda Hall Library's collection of the published monuments of the great scientific expeditions during the age of sail are featured in this exhibition catalog. It begins with the spontaneous adventures of William Dampier, and includes all three of the famous voyages of Captain Cook. All of the expeditions highlighted here sailed around the globe.
