The event

The Library will host a MECA Challenge on Saturday, November 11, co-sponsored with the Kansas City Startup Foundation, Rockhurst High School, and St. Teresa’s Academy. Ten six-person teams of students will be proposed a challenge question, then work with adult mentors to solve the problem. The students will pitch their solutions to a team of expert judges only a few hours after hearing the challenge.

The public is invited to attend the pitch session from 12:50 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Library’s Main Reading Room. The event is free, but please sign-up for e-tickets at the link below. The Main Reading Room will open to the public at 12:30 p.m.
