Kaylee Peile, the Library's Director of Development, has been selected to participate in the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce's Centurions Leadership Program as part of the Pinnacle Class of 2026. Since 1976, the two-year leadership development program has prepared greater Kansas City's emerging leaders for roles including judges, CEOs and nonprofit executives. Centurions is an unequaled training ground for future Kansas City leaders.

Kaylee first joined the Linda Hall Library's Development team as the Manager of Strategic Partnerships before being promoted to her current role, Director of Development, in 2023. "Kaylee is a dynamic and forward-thinking community advocate," says Michele Knight, Senior Vice President for Engagement at the Linda Hall Library, "her experience in partnership development, strategic planning and relationship building has had a significant impact on creating a space for the Linda Hall Library within Kansas City's STEM ecosystem."

As a Centurion, Kaylee will spend the next two years exploring the Kansas City metropolitan area's issues and opportunities. Additionally, Kaylee and her cohort, which is a representative cross-section of the community's emerging leaders, will explore their own roles and opportunities in shaping the future of Greater Kansas City. Sharing her excitement, Peile says, "I am thrilled to be included in this group of regional leaders as we embark on what will surely be an exciting and rewarding experience. I look forward to working together as we continue to grow, learn and lead for the betterment of the Greater Kansas City region!"

Congratulations, Kaylee!
