Century-old Panama Canal feted in KC

Kansas City’s Linda Hall Library is one of only two institutions in the contiguous United States known to mount a major exhibition commemorating the centenary of the Panama Canal. The centerpiece is the display of 200 artifacts – original photographs, hand-colored drawings, maps, letters, diaries, postcards and news clippings – not seen by the public in nearly 80 years.
