Notice Regarding COVID-19

Dear Linda Hall Library Friends, Due to health concerns regarding COVID-19, the Linda Hall Library will remain closed until further notice. During this closure, our staff is working from home making sure that when we return to work, we will not have skipped a beat! We are working on future program plans, improving digital assets, and training staff in the most up-to-date tools and techniques that will enable them to serve you better. Library programs scheduled during this time have been postponed, cancelled, or reconfigured as virtual programs. For the most up-to-date information about Library programs during this period of closure, we encourage you to visit our upcoming events page. In addition to updated programming information, our website offers access to our digital collections, archived lectures of the past decade, and on-line exhibitions. In the coming weeks the Library’s social media accounts will showcase online content that you can access for information, education, enlightenment, and entertainment at a time when we all could benefit from some diversion. Most important of all, we will help you separate science fact from science fiction at a time when clarity is both needed and welcome. Finally, if you have a book due while the Library is closed, you may keep the book without penalty until we reopen. You do not need to renew the book or return it until that time. We all look forward to seeing you at the Library very soon. In the meantime, visit us on any of our platforms; we will be delighted to hear from you. Stay well.
