The December 18 program

The Animal Health Corridor, anchored by Manhattan, Kansas, and Columbia, Missouri, is home to more than 300 animal health companies, representing the largest concentration in the world. Companies with a strategic location in the corridor now represent 56 percent of total worldwide animal health, diagnostics, and pet food sales. Join Kimberly Young, President of KC Animal Health Corridor, for an overview of the latest corridor initiatives and their impact on the Kansas City region and beyond.

The speaker

Kimberly Young is President of the KC Animal Health Corridor, managing the day-to-day operations and overseeing implementation of the strategic priorities that are governed by the KCAHC Advisory Board. Previously, Kim has held senior leadership positions in economic development and biosciences at state and regional levels. Kim holds a BS degree from Pittsburg State University and joined the KC Animal Health Corridor in 2011.
