September 29, 1957 – February 13, 2019

Michelle Lahey died on the evening of February 13, 2019 after fighting a gallant battle with ALS. For more than 15 years, Michelle was a member of the Linda Hall Library’s public services staff, retiring in July 2018 as Head of Public Services. Her Linda Hall Library colleagues will remember Michelle as a leader and mentor, and those who sought her help in navigating complicated information pathways will remember Michelle as a skilled and consummate professional. Everyone who knew her will remember Michelle as the most devoted fan of the Kansas City Royals. The entire Linda Hall Library Family extends its deepest condolences to Michelle’s family in their bereavement.
